Mike has an extensive background in managing and securing military and civilian information systems across various challenging operational environments, including submarines, surface ships, small combatants, Navy Special Warfare units, engineering support facilities, and intelligence centers. He brings a wealth of expertise in all facets of systems security, encompassing network design, the installation and configuration of firewalls, servers, and workstations, software development, and vulnerability assessment and remediation. Michael excels in incident response, digital forensics, and developing and enforcing security policies. With a solid commitment to operational excellence and security, Michael has successfully overseen complex projects and provided technical leadership in critical environments. His hands-on experience and strategic approach to IT and cybersecurity make him a trusted resource for safeguarding information systems and enhancing organizational resilience.
Timmy Weichel
Timmy is a seasoned professional with over three decades of expertise spanning technical leadership, systems engineering, design, integration, cybersecurity, project management, and IT service management (ITIL). His career encompasses the private and public sectors. He has served in high-impact roles, including Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Impervious Technologies, a pioneering cybersecurity start-up, and International Director of Systems and Cybersecurity for a multinational retail organization. As a partner and co-founder of the managed service provider Helio Sector, he has further expanded his influence in the IT and cybersecurity landscape. Timmy’s extensive experience includes supporting diverse clients, such as U.S. intelligence agencies, domestic and international governments, the Department of Defense (DoD), educational institutions, commercial enterprises, non-profits, and pro-bono charity work. He has played a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining numerous highly secure, government-accredited systems, consistently achieving high stakeholder satisfaction. A distinguished and decorated U.S. Navy veteran, Timmy is a Qualified Submariner, Communicator, and Naval Special Warfare communicator. His expertise in RF and satellite communications and cryptography has been honed through roles as an instructor in communications and cybersecurity for both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. His military service is marked by extensive operational experience across submarines, surface ships, aircraft, and field support operations, underscoring his well-rounded technical and leadership capabilities.
